KPImailer templates are built in desktop Excel and PowerPoint, not in a proprietary designer. The KPImailer add-in inserts live Qlik objects into your workbook or deck. Everything else stays yours: formatting, formulas, PivotTables and charts.

Excel templates

  • Insert tables, charts and KPIs from any Qlik sheet into any worksheet.
  • Build your own PivotTables and formulas on top of the inserted data. They recalculate on every run.
  • Sheet repeaters create one tab per region, store or customer.
  • Conditional rendering shows or hides content depending on the data.
  • Scope and filter overrides let one object use a different period or selection than the rest of the report.
  • Dynamic naming puts dates or values into file and sheet names.

PowerPoint templates

  • Slide repeaters build one slide per value.
  • Show or hide individual shapes, or whole slides, with conditions.

The same report can attach formatted Excel that keeps Qlik styling and pivot indentation, raw data exported as an Excel table, PDF, paginated PDF and CSV. Each attachment can carry its own filters.

Which Office versions does the add-in need?

The Excel add-in works with Microsoft 365, Office 2021 and Office 2024. The PowerPoint add-in needs Microsoft 365 version 2504 or later.

Do recipients need Qlik to open the files?

No. The delivered workbook or deck is a normal Office file with values already calculated. There is nothing to refresh and no connection to enable.

Can one template produce a tab per region?

Yes. Sheet repeaters create one worksheet per value, and slide repeaters create one slide per value, each named automatically.
