What is KPImailer?
KPImailer is report distribution software for Qlik Sense and Power BI. You design a report once from live dashboard objects, and KPImailer refreshes the data, builds a personalised email with Excel, PowerPoint, PDF or CSV attachments for each recipient, and delivers it on a schedule or when a data reload finishes.
How long does installation take?
Most teams send their first automated report the same afternoon. KPImailer ships as one Windows installer that brings its own database, scheduler and web app, so there are no prerequisites to set up. You then connect your Qlik or Power BI environment and your mail server from a short first-run wizard.
Does KPImailer work with Qlik Cloud?
Yes. KPImailer for Qlik Sense connects to both Qlik Sense Enterprise client-managed (on-premises) and Qlik Cloud. On Qlik Cloud it connects with an OAuth machine-to-machine client and listens to webhooks, so you are alerted the moment an app reload succeeds or fails.
Do recipients need a Qlik or Power BI licence?
No. Recipients receive a finished email and files, so they do not need a BI licence, an account or a login. That is often the biggest saving compared with sharing dashboards directly.
Where is our data processed?
On your own server. KPImailer installs inside your network and sends through the mail service you choose (your SMTP server, or SendGrid or Mailgun on Power BI), so report data never passes through Relevance Management or a KPImailer cloud. Only licence status is checked with our licence server. The optional AI features use a model and API key that your administrator configures.
Is Relevance Management ISO 27001 certified?
Yes. Relevance Management, the company that builds and supports KPImailer, operates an information security management system certified to ISO/IEC 27001. The certificate is available on request for vendor assessments, together with answers to your security questionnaire.
Can every recipient get only their own data?
Yes, that is called bursting. Pick a field such as Region, Store or Customer and KPImailer sends one tailored copy per value, only for values that actually have data. Combined with dynamic recipients, each copy goes to the person responsible for that value.
Which file formats can KPImailer attach?
Excel (formatted, raw data, or your own Excel templates with PivotTables and formulas), PowerPoint (including templates with slide repeaters), PDF, paginated PDF and CSV. Files can also be saved to SharePoint, OneDrive, a network share or a local folder, and Qlik data can be exported to SQL databases.
How does the free trial work?
The trial includes every feature for 30 days or 50 actions, whichever comes first. When it ends, sending pauses but nothing is deleted: your reports, templates and history are kept, and sending resumes as soon as a licence is applied.
How is KPImailer licensed?
