SQL export writes Qlik Sense data into a relational database on the same schedules and triggers as any report. It is a simple way to feed other systems, spreadsheets or data science tools with governed Qlik numbers.
What you can do
- Export Qlik tables to SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle.
- Use the built-in EXPORT database that ships with every installation, with a read-only login for downstream tools.
- Run exports on a schedule, after a reload or after another report.
- Get an email when an export finishes.
Why teams use it
Many organisations have processes outside Qlik that need the same numbers: a planning tool, a staging area, a finance model. SQL export keeps them in sync without writing a separate ETL job.
